Feeling Emotionally Drained?

As an animal communicator I have to be an empathic person because without this quality I wouldn’t be telepathic. Empathy comes from the heart center and the heart vibrates at a high level. Residing in my heart space allows me to connect with animals. It affords the animals and humans on the other side a clearer connection. I am a person who can sense the energy of all situations going on around me. Heck, I know if people are home just by looking at a house! If I allow my own feelings to get tangled up I can become emotionally and physically drained, and sometimes ill. I monitor how I am feeling on a daily sometime hourly basis. It is important to remind myself that looking at the big picture from a universal perspective is essential. Getting bogged down in the minutia is of no use to anyone especially myself. I have to remember like you do that all will be well. Yes, all will be well. It's important to realize that our spirit guides, relatives, friends and pets in Spirit are guiding us as a higher power to support us. If you start to feel overwhelmed by someone else's emotions, be cautious and allow them to deal with their own issues. If you react by getting upset yourself, you might feel lost or anxious, which isn't healthy. Unbalanced energy can become explosive, often driven by fear, which is a low emotional state. One of you needs to remain emotionally detached to help with a clear mind. Cultivating observation, compassion, and emotional detachment is vital. I call this practice "healthy detachment for self-preservation." It's been useful for family conflicts and awkward gatherings, as well as witnessing harmful interactions. If you treat emotions like a movie or parade, you can maintain your center and not absorb them. Picture yourself in the bleachers watching the "parade" pass by. Observe without getting overly involved. I believe in stepping in if I can truly make a difference, which is why I chose animal communication. Acknowledging issues from a balanced perspective gives us time to create a plan to help with necessary changes.
