This story involves a woman and her very large horse named Merlin. He decided that a harsh lesson was necessary to get his human partner, whom he loves to pieces, to realize that she needed to move in the direction of her life's path. She had been perseverating over a change in her life that she knew was her life’s calling. A slow buck caused a jolt to her system when she hit the ground. She realized after a communication session that she needed to wake up and be present. Merlin felt that he needed to do something so that her life didn’t pass her by. He said that it could have been much worse but the gentle buck was his way of centering her. Though it took a few more years for her to commit to her calling, the message is remembered.
